One of my older Sebright banty hens is wheezing, no discharge except for some clear bubbles in the corner of her eye. She is bright and eating well, although she seems on the thin side. I wormed my whole flock with ivomec this morning, they are all free range to try to combat our horrible tick problem. I lost another hen about a month ago, she became listless and thin with diarrhea but no respiratory distress. I tried terramyacin, probiotics and electrolytes on her but nothing helped. We live in northwestern wisconsin. Any idea what's going on? I've only had chickens a couple of years but I'm really attached to the little guys, such personalities! I also don't feed a medicated feed because of the danger to my horses, should I be? Thanks so much!
