Paige - My roster did not look good so I went to the vet. The vet looked at him and asked "Do you have another rooster?"..and the answer was yes. Dr. Wallah said that the other rooster had been fighting with Patrick (the injured rooster) and it was infected. His waddles were dark and swollen - he had a big red golf ball sized lump under his throat. He gave me anitbiotics to put in his water - told me to keep him isolated and that I need to pick which rooster I wanted to keep. (Of course it is going to be the one I just spent $50 on.) That was a little over 24 hours ago and my rooster looks much better. The swelling has gone down and he is eating and drinking. HOW IS YOUR ROOSTER??
