Bag Balm works well with wounds , they might try to taste it but they don't like it and rub their beaks on the ground to get it off of it. it also works to keep others from pecking at each other , noxema or a generic of noxema works to keep others from pecking each other. i had some chicks with peck wounds on the tails and wings and bag balm helped in healing and with others pecking ,i still kept them in with others that pecked and they left them alone ( the taste and smell of bag balm made them stop) BEST OF LUCK!
