Thanks everyone! I think that for now I will just keep trying to use the incubator. In the spring I will consider making a broodery for the two girls who are consistently broody. Perkie has been broody for going on two months now... amazing. Of course it probably doesn't help that I have given her three golf balls to sit on and appease her so that I can sneak under and take the actual eggs. :-) I think it would be better to wait until spring. I would be heartbroken if the chicks died during a freak cold snap or something. Thanks again!
