Sam, Welcome to The Easy. Talk about good luck.....well to give a plain answer, you actually have come close to the answer in your discourse. Picture an auto assembly line. Some days run so smothly that production averages are exceeded and some days run as normal, at, or below average. Then you have some days that don`t even come close and the boss is standing on his left ear, yelling and applying all the pressure he`s capable of. This may be overly simplistic, but the parallels are realistic. Hens have good and bad days. Some days everything is stressful, some days are average, and some days, everything comes together and out pops 2 eggs. It`s easy to stress a bird, but not so easy to have a perfect day. Stress can rear its ugly head with a change in feed, feed timing, or even a change in water source, and then you can only imagine what happens if a predator threatens. You obviously are doing things right for your girls. Their days are going very smoothly and they are at peace. Good job. The only advice I can pass along, at this time, don`t buy a car that was produced on a Monday, or the day before a holiday. Hope this answers your question.....P
