I wouldn`t give him a chance to pass it on or not. You might keep him for a pet, but breeding an inferior specimen is irresponsible. I don`t mean to sound harsh. I`ve spent a lot of years breeding for perfection and culling birds that don`t measure up. Do the chicken world a favor and don`t breed the boy. There are plenty other roosters that would be far less of a gamble.....P
