The first guinea has hatched. I got five live chicks out of the dozen Cornish eggs (1 crippled chick, two fully-pipped eggs didn't hatch, and the rest never pipped. Today is day #24, and the info I read said guineas hatch after 28 days. Sure hope this batch does well. I'll block off part of the brooder so the guinea gets the high-protein feed.
