the automatic water trough for my chickens got inadvertently turned off and the chickens were without water for a whole day. When I realized what happened, I turned on the water, and they rushed over to it and drank up. It automatically refills, so they don't run out. Here's the problem..... they haven't laid an egg since then. Not a single egg. It has been over a week now. Shouldn't they be over the trauma of it all by now? Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to stimulate these hens to get back on the job? Thanks a bunch!
