I have a couple of girls who go broody so much that I don't bother trying to break them anymore. When they do this they start to pluck the feathers from the belly & breast area to line the nest, they have bald bellies for at least half the year. It's not good practice to let this go on if you are a serious breeder, but these are my pets and I just don't care all that much, so I let it go. I would guess that although it is also moult time, she may be plucking those areas herself. On the plus side, if you hatch babies she might turn out to be a good hatch mama like my Clara.
