Thanks Paul,I wasn't sure how close I need to have food and water for the chicks...I have a small chick waterer I can put rocks in so they are safe.Should I do that or will they follw her for their food and drink?My area will allow a cage in the run or I can put it ground level in the coop.I can cover the cage so it's dry and no draft for them.Please let me know your opinion.Michelle
