Well, sounds like all is progressing nicely. I really have come to believe that biteing is not aggression, but objection. Try standing spread leg, bent over and, holding her in both hands with arms extended, swinging her from side to side for a couple seconds. this seems to have a calming affect, maybe disorienting, but makes them easier to handle.
As for the pepper, one day per treatment is fine, but more doesn`t hurt.
Worms could be the reason for the pale face. I`m real fond of Red Cell, which is a vitamin supplement for horses, sold in the feed store. Mix it in their water so it looks like weak tea, very weak tea, and don`t overdo it.
If Senior Rock is indeed only around 9 months, chances of his crow improving are slim as he should be in full voice by that age.
Tis the season for moulting and that, along with the hens new surroundings and stress, is most likely the cause of the egg slump.
