Not to fear, Chris, you won`t lose any birds over this. I can`t really advise about what will happen in the next few weeks pertaining to the shortness of "mosquito season". All of my experience with pox has been in FL where we have a huge "mosquito season".
At the outbreak of pox in my flock, I have always vaccinated every bird, even the affected ones. I know it runs it`s course, but I always felt better sticking them all.
The vaccine is cheap (under $10 the last time I bought some) and easy to use. You get enough to vaccinate hundreds of birds. You need a helper. I would pick them off the roost at night. Saves a lot of anxiety for all concerned, and do them all.
Sounds like you have a great laying flock comming of age. I know they will give you years of satisfaction, well worth all the time and money invested. Good luck......P
