I've heard of people shooting rowdy roos with water pistols, but dunking them is a great idea. Once you catch the bird it's hard to miss the bucket. I do suggest trimming his spurs when they come in (21 weeks is a little early for big bird back claws) or try sticking some pencil erasers on the points. No bleeding, and it works! For a while, anyhow.
