I have been candling the eggs, and have pretty much decided they are all quitters. It's probably not the fault of the seller, but more that some of the little plastic basket doo-dads that support the eggs fell off the rails, blocking the turning rails, and probably ruined the mechanism. I wasn't turning them by hand, so that did them in. Most of the bought eggs show early embryonic development when opened, and none of them was bad (green or smelly inside). At my little girl's request, many of these eggs still sit in the 'bator, but I'm certain there will be no chicks from this batch. I'll try buying some locally and see what happens.
