I've been told that some people have made newspaper balls and hung them up by a string for the chicks to peck. Also if they have the taste for wanting to peck (blood ) . I was told to put hang big pieces of fat on a string , I was told this helps . A guy I know puts the deer in the coop after he skins and gets everything out of it he wants , he said his chickens pick the rib cage and says it's good for his chickens. I was told to also to hang cd's on strings and they will peck at the shinyness. I am only going on hersay.
