Once the wound is healing, you may want to try putting a piece of strong plastic tape, like duct tape or electrical tape, over the site. It covers the spot, and protects it from the other chickens returning to finish the kill. Black tape is better than silver or red. I've heard of this done for hens whose roosters are overly rough in mating, too. My little roo's favorite hen got lots of pulled feathers from his attention, and also big head wounds from the other hens. I kept her in a separate pen where the others could see her until she got pretty well healed up, and then just put her there at night after that. My birds are free-range during the day, and it didn't seem to bother them to be together outside. Good luck with your birds.
