Welcome to The Easy, Dick. I agree with the gang that overcrowding is your problem and anti peck anything should help, but is not a permanent cure. At 8 weeks you should be able to see slightly larger combs on your male birds, also the males of most breeds, tend to start getting pink faces about this time. Pullets usually do not color up in the face until just before egg production begins. Also you`ll notice that crowding will increase as does size. When things start to get really tight, you might consider another pen for most of the suspected cockerals. Most anything that is simple, but secure, will do temporarily until you are sure.
