We have given all our chicks raw, fresh milk every day from their first day out of the shell and our grown hens often have fresh milk, clotted milk, leftover cheese or yogurt I make and they are very healthy. And in many years of chickens we have never had a single sick bird. (our recent loss of Tink was a birth defect) I am curious about the advice earlier of milk being bad for them - is it just pasturized milk then?
