We bought the only Hog wire available here and the welds pop apart I would search for something very strong. My pit mix was a master escape artisit and I saw her "pluck" the wire with her nails to get it apart and squeze through. She was very proud and I was annoyed.
I am with the others report this asap! Evil as it may be I would not be beyond luring them back before I replaced my flock and do away with them. The fines Sharon mentioned and dog removal does not discourage folks here from letting their dogs rove.
I have a bib of concrete around my duckhouse door and will make the inside floor concrete soon, both for hygene and protection (yes I will put hay on top of the concrete I know it's bad for their feet).
