We get those tiny eggs once in a while - they almost never have a yolk in them but occasionally I fry one up as a joke for my husband. When hens are first starting to lay this happens until they "get going" and sometimes as they get older. I have all large birds - Buff Orpingtons, Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rocks and Golden Comets. Sometimes the eggs are only about as big as the end of my thumb. Sharon
