Karmen, this thread is from last summer. Chances of your birds having pox in winter is very slim. Summer, when mosquitoes are prevalent is pox time. Most likely your birds have scabs from pecking. Winter in snow country is tough on fowl when they have to stay inside a lot. Egg production decrease can also be blamed on the stress of confinement. Pox is not just smal scabs, it is also little bumps, like pimples, that scab up. I wouldn`t be to concerned unless feather picking starts, which is likely. Stress is as bad for fowl as it is for humans....P
