I don't know if anyone can answer this but I have a question about my young peachicks. They are around 3 months old now and I have 4 india blues. I am wondering if males have more barring on their wings than females do? I have 3 that seem to have a lot of barring and one has solid colored wings. I am thinking 3 males and one female. I also have two midnights and I was told the males will get the nice dark color and the females will look like black shoulder hens. Right now I would say the babies are darker than either of my black shoulder hens so I'm wondering if they might be males. I know it is really early to tell but these are my first real babies - well I had 4 last year but had no idea what I was looking at and they ended up being 3 black shoulder hens and one was a white (I did know that!).
I am just wondering what to be looking for. I have someone who wants to buy one and of course she wants a male!
