Posted by chris This afternoon we opened their yard gate and let em out. They had so much fun. And yes, went right in to bed at dark. The hardest part was keeping the kids from chasing them. Although the cat does not seem bothered by the flock. He has been in the chicken yard with them. For this first time I kept him in the house. We'll ease into that one. Thanks again for all your help as I learn more on this path.

Thank you everyone for your comments to my earlier post. I was wondering about letting the little feathered people out to free range for a couple hours before it gets dark.
