One of my Black orpingtons has developed a growth around it's nostril. One nostril is mild and the other more so. It looks like it would make it difficult to breath but she seems fine, perky and lays eggs. There seems no affect at all. However I am worried that these are going to grow to the point she can't breath. I have researched on the web but can't find any disease that relates to this. The chicke would be 2 years old. Vet will be next call.
