that is the last egg before stopping for the moult. most times the last and the first eggs look pullet. (plunker is a McDougal term only). Grandma Williams was never happy to find one in the fall. she knew another was now dead weight for a while. at least you don't have to worry about going into the red ink while they are on a break and, next years will be bigger.
