Posted by Gary Lambert Susanna Kyle is the daughter of the great lyricist, librettist and screenwriter (and collaborator/great friend of Bernstein) Betty Comden, who passed away just a couple of days ago. Comden's long marriage to the late Steven Kyle produced two children -- Susanna and Alan, the latter of whom died tragically of complications of AIDS in 1991, after a 20-year struggle with drug addiction.
