I believe an ancestor of mine was buried in St James Cemetary but dont know where to start looking.
I'm told it read Thomas Skeaping, Tailor of Button St. The date would probably have been between 1816 and 1833. His wife Agnes died in 1837 and may possibly have been buried in the same grave.
There may have been other Skeaping's buried between 1894-1905 in a grave that also carried the name Lodge.
Any help would be appreciated. Would memorial transcriptions help me and are they in records office?
