Posted by Greg Murphy Thanks for your message. I think the statue could be restored and replaced, it just needs the Museums & Galleries Liverpool to made aware of the importance of the statue. I had suggested some time ago that it should be moved to the new Museum extension in William Brown Street, but in vain. I enjoyed the LHS website, both in content and in design- I don't have internet access at home, but will revisit as often as I can. Kind regards Greg Murphy
