This is the message board (est. 2001) for St James' Cemetery.

Unfortunately the more detailed interment registers haven't been digitised and are on microfilm at the Liverpool Record Office (these include the plot number and burial type).
I can see from a memorial record taken in the 1920s that he was buried in D1164, along with Ellen Ellis aged 5y, William Morgan aged 37y, Mary Middleton aged 50y, Edward Seagar aged 43y. All buried in 1855.
Unfortunately it looks like it was one of the headstones removed and buried in the 1960s, but you can see the location where the remains still lie on the right hand side of this map - http://stjamescemetery.co.uk/upload/2018/06/12/20180612081250-eda074a6.jpg
