My G. Grandmother, Elizabeth [Latham] Bartley [b. 1838] is in St. James Cemetery along with two children[ Thomas Latham Bartley, Henrietta Latham Bartley] who died young. Now her husband[my G.Grandfather Henry], who ended up in the workhouse, was not buried at St. James but Anfield & their grandson Toxteth Park Cemetery. My question is was she buried in St James because her family[Latham] maybe were there, but who? Unless she were buried with the Lathams she probably had a public burial, meaning no headstone as she left behind several children as well as a husband. Any relatives out there with info or who live near St. James Cemetery...I'm over in Canada looking for pieces to the puzzle. Thanks.
