I was in Liverpool Central Library recently and searched the catalogue for books about cemeteries.
It turns out there is a 'book' about St James in the local history department.
It's actually a collection of hand typed notes, photocopies of press reports, old photos and more recent photos. There's some interesting photos taken many years ago before the headstones were cleared away.
It's by Sid Lindsay and you have to ask the staff to fetch it for you to read.
Just thought I'd let you know.
