Riley: OKay Rainbow and Uriel, Lets Line up!

Rainbow: Riley, our child needs grooming first!

Riley: Okay, one last spot to fix!

Riley: OKay, Everyone say MILLET!!!

Riley and Rainbow want to play "family" with Uriel !

Good that Uriel will benefit from some tiel parenting.

THey really do love Uriel! YOucan tell when they tend him. I just think it was all wrong because he was only one baby, and didn't stay warm when they would leave him to eat and fill up . Then he wouldnt' raise up to feed because he was too cold. SO they thought he wasn't hungry... And gave up trying. Now that he's warm, he has a great feeding response. They feed him a little... but usually he's full because I've fed him. They are very good with Uriel, and yes, I love that he has tiel socializtion, and can learn from his parents how to eat when it's time to eat like a big bird! For now, they can groom his face, so he doesn't get food stuck there, and groom those pinfeathers, and he loves that! I get to feed and cuddle him, which he loves! He's perching now, on my finger.. and he's started learning to climb, and he was playing with beads earlier!

You are starting to look like a tiel bird!
You are still a WIP (Work In Progress),
but there are real improvements happening for you!

I like your tiel family photos, and wonder when
you will start to fly. Are they teaching you to fly?

I flew today!

I am 25 days old! I flew a little today! Mommy taught me to perch, and I watched my feathered Mommy and Daddy flap wings, so I did too! THen I flew from human mommy to a soft chair cushion! I am also learning to eat non baby food! Mommy says I'm a bit young, but I insisted!

Aww thansk!!!!! I hug them too! I can put Uriel on my chest, and Rainbow and Riley will get on either side, and I pat three birdies and kind of hug them!
