I'm not glad Sadie got sick, but I AM glad the subject of iodine came up. I'd completely forgotten about it! Its' so necessary! I know many birds get what they need from diet and mineral block, but Sadie might have trouble absorbing it, so the drops in the water will help! Yes if you have a sick birdie, separate cages in separate rooms is the best way to go. Also, wash hands when moving from bird to bird. Sadie isn't contagious, ( except for her beauty and personality!) so that's not needed here, but if she had some other illnes, you'd have to quarantine her from Pierre to reduce chances of him catching it! I hope Sadie is already doing much better!!!
