I don't think he jumped. I think he was "helped" out of teh water perhaps.
I do regular water changes, and add water conditioners that take chlorine out, and i remove waste products daily! THese fish, they spent 5 months in a stagnant icky smelly environ becaue peopel thought they had died! Now, I make sure they have clean flowing water, algae control, plants in their water etc...
I NEED to replace the aquarium filters indoors though. I had to treat the fish for ICK and now I need a water change and filters etc..
I have guppies indoors, and big goldfishy outside!
I think the cats batted the fish, or scared him out of the water. It was covered with only a msall area big enough for a cat to stick his nead and feet in to drink... I think, maybe a feral or a home cat deicde to play with the orange moving things in the water.
Big goldfishy is fine so far though! YAY!!!!
