I was just pondering over the signings that Peter Taylor made for Leicester City, now, as a manager of the England u21 team he didn't loose a game, however this was a team handed to him on a plate by Howard Wilkinson, he was then being made out to be the next major manager in the English game, then the oppertunity arose at Leicester City, once again he was handed a team who finished consistantly in the top 10 of the premiership for the previous four years they had won the Worthless cup twice, thus being in the UEFA cup twice, after Martin O'Neil left the Foxes, the team were on a high and before we knew it they were sitting top of the premiership 16 games into the season, not bad, once again Taylor was getting all the plaudits, now I'm a Foxes supporter, and I'm a realist, I watched these games and they were performing well below parr and some how they were top of the league, then the inevitable happened, the team started to slid in to free fall. Taylor spent the guts of £28 million, the best of these signings Gary Rowett and Ian Walker, the rest were not capable of gracing the premiership, he sold the teams best player in Neil Lennon and didn't replace him, he spent £5million on a player that the whole country have been laughing at for 18 months (Ade Akinbiye!)
The reason I'm writing this is because I see Brighton were top of the table when he arrived, now they have slipped down a few places, I fear the worst for the seagulls fans, the man ruined our club and if he continues in this vain he will drag you down to the conferance league. Basically Peter Taylor is a wanker who doesn't know what he's doing, he's ruined my life as well as the rest of the Filbert St faithful, since he was at the club I stopped going, the football he played was hideous and the formation he tried to use was a joke, he thougt he was managing Man Utd, little clubs like Leicester and Brighton can't play his so called style, why ??? Because he doesn't know what he's doing. I'd like to see any replies to this as I'd like to know what the Brighton fans think of him. I hope you get through the next round of the FA cup and draw Leicester in the 5th round, oh by the way anyone have any comments on Micky Adams !!!!
