I must say I am honored to be mentioned as to this concept as I am intrigued by the notion. It certainly would be an endeavor that would find our community, I imagine, estatic over the results.
It gives me cause to ponder the means of accomplishing this vision. Certain hard and practical questions would have to be asked; mutual structure in its participants, technical aspects, financing, etc.
Unfortunately I do not think penthouse or hustler are financing such extravigant productions such as Caligula anymore unless one within this community has such contacts and would be willing to find out. It calls to mind a question I once had as to those companies that had produced such faire. This leaves us with the challenge of a low budget production.
I think, after financing and organization, the most important aspect to this would be editing, I imagine a jigzaw collection of filmed scenes could be collated to bring togather the whole story. There a common backdrop would make it much easier. As example a night attack on a small caravan in forrested areas may make continuity possile.
It cerainly would be an interesting thing to consider.
