Poser artists would find it dificult to work in the exact same story. Mainly because of diferences in vision, of a given story. But I can see poser artists or even other media working on paralel stories involving the same character or places. Book writers do this on occasion. An anthology where writers write short stories set in the same time or place, and where character interact.
And this can be a fun way to work if you can keep everyone interested in the project
