Amazon Spring
It is spring. frost glazed branches
spread their tattered fan
over a gold and silver sunrise,
that shines, a
shield on the blue bosom of Diana!
The Temple of Artemis
sighs with myrrh and frankincense
as the virgin girls wave branches
and crown each other
with ivy... believe me
new Amazons will rise
from the blood
of the Winter's Battle Fallen.
