There are two orders that arrange balls with ancient rituals for new recipients. The order of Amaranth and The order of Innonce. Especially the Amaranth is dominated by the aristocracy - at least the board. These orders are only worn at theese balls.
As Robert say, anyone who has decorations can wear them when the dresscode is white tie. White tie is still quite common for weddings, festivities at universities and different societies. Medals are awarded but no orders to Swedish citizens since 1974. But this will probably change soon. Thre is a new proposal to change this that 6 of 8 parties in the parliament has agrred on.
