I think they mean the bronze figures, yes. I have seen no explanation of the figures, but some of them speak for themselves. I see a.o. a couple of coats-of-arms, a crown, an orb, a polar bear (representing Greenland), the Danish and Greenlandic flags, a ram (representing the Faroe Islands) a lion, the Constitution, a DNA string, theatrical masks, a pair of scissors, paintbrushes, a palette, 'The Lord of the Rings' by Tolkien and two dachshunds.
