So could anybody simply provide that information here, if he happens to have an expert knowledge of genealogy? The main reasons for my asking are the principalities of Monaco and Liechtenstein. Otherwise, I'm pretty confident about the relationships between the various kings, queens, and grand duke.
Case in point: Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain is a second cousin to King Harald V of Norway, third cousin to Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, third cousin to King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, and third cousin once removed to King Felipe VI of Spain.
She is a more distant cousin to King Willem IV of the Netherlands, but I believe their closest connection would be through mutual descent from King George II. Although King Philippe of the Belgians is also a descendant of his, I believe he and the current British sovereign are more closely connected through the House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. The same could be said of Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg. It's get tricky to count the numbers of generations ("great-great-great ..."); but can anybody provide the information on the Benelux sovereigns? Also (of course) the sovereign princes?
I remember that website allowing the user to start with any reigning monarch as a focal point. One could start, for instance, with Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, and then go through the list of her relationships to fellow sovereigns (i.e. Britain, Norway, Sweden, the Benelux countries, Spain, Monaco, Liechtenstein).
