One DR-reporter told that she had been surprised that the Cown Princess was suddenly standing next to her.
If the police had started to try to move the very peaceful people who were there to pay their respect to the Prince and not least the Queen, it would have looked a bit odd.
If the royals had wanted to be undesturbed, they could have inspected the tributes in the morning - or later when people had left the square.
I was at Amalienborg and like at Fredenborg - where the Queen appeared yesterday to "inspect" the tributes - there was very, very little police. People were quiet and repectful, not making a big fuss out of it. I like this approach.
