BTW I didn't realize there were Burger King's in Denmark.
I still can't fathom how someone of Henrik's position, per his wife, can demand or expect to be elevated to a title and style late in his wife's reign. If ever this was to go in effect, i.e., 'king consort' concept, it should have been addressed prior to his wife's accession that her husband would be styled the same, H.M., with the title of 'king consort'. However, this subject, ad nauseum, has been discussed that owing to conventions established in other monarchies that the consort/spouse of a queen regnant is of lower rank, e.g., prince/duke, than she. I can only guess that this particular convention was established to emphasize the authority of the female sovereign because of the traditional aspects of authority the title 'king' entails.
: Much telling & no summary needed (...)
