I have seen many photos of Queen Margrethe over the years, in a book. However, there is one book that shows a few photos of the queen in a 'less-than-regal' moments, i.e., falling down a flight of stairs or in grassy meadow, etc.
Moreover, I wonder why the Danish press hasn't kept such 'unroyal' moments from the glare/knowledge of the public such as in Britain? There, the monarch is never shown, in photographs or video,in an unfavorable light or rather caught in the act of any human foibles.
Hmmm but I do think it makes the Danish monarchy more unique and perhaps more popular as just humans carrying out their duties?
