Do you really think they had breakfast together? Yes, in this case it would be ridiculous indeed...
But I think, they actually met the first time this day before the Parliament House. For me, it's a sympathetic gesture to say hello to family members with a kiss - also for Royals 
.
...but I hate that 'kiss-kiss-kiss' attitude to anybody... 
Unfortunately it's a growing one in my country, hope it isn't in yours.
