As I said before, Iīm not shocked or something. I just feel this is unappropriate for a Queen (MY opinion). Iīm just a bit bewildered when I see her on stage after a ballet she participated in in one way or another and curtseying deeply to the audience...
I might be a bit oldfashioned here, but Iīm very sensitive in Royalty mixing with other celebrity businesses (like singing or acting) because I got the feeling a lot of peopleīs perception these days is to mingle it all together, unable to make a difference between soap stars, singers and Royalty. I remember being quite disgusted in seeing Stephanie of Monaco singing this ridiculous pop song in the 80s
(didnīt have the impression it was "irresistable" at all...)
Talking about the money: Of course I know she doesnīt keep it for herself. Thatīs not my point. Iīve simply the feeling it disturbs the royal myth and dignity when royal people present themselves in this way and being paid by their own "subjects".
I donīt need to say that I think Margrethe is a good Queen.
