Ican see it too. I have read, sorry I can't remember the source, but geneticists say that every now and then a person may strongly resemble one of their ancestors. There were many who thought Crown prince Wilhelm of Prussia, son of Kaiser Wilhelm II, resembled Frederick the Great (even though he wasn't directly descended from him.

: Yesterday, I visited an exhibition about the

: saw a portrait of Tsar Paul I of Russia and
: had the impression, that there's a strong
: resemblance to Crown Prince Frederik of
: Denmark. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to
: take photographs, but I found a pic of a
: similar portrait of the tsar:

: Today I searched the net for a possible
: relation between Crown Prince Frederik and
: Tsar Paul I and found out, that the Tsar is
: the CP's grand-grand-grand...(6) father (via
: his grand-grandmother, Duchess Alexandrine
: of Mecklenburg-Schwerin).

: On the British Royal Message Board was some
: time ago a discussion about another

: Am I the only who thinks that there's a

:
: I cupped my hands around the face in the
: portrait to block out the hair and then the
: resemblance is startling. How very

: the similarity in looks despite hair and
