Yesterday, I visited an exhibition about the splendour of the Romanovs in Monaco. There I saw a portrait of Tsar Paul I of Russia and had the impression, that there's a strong resemblance to Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to take photographs, but I found a pic of a similar portrait of the tsar:

Today I searched the net for a possible relation between Crown Prince Frederik and Tsar Paul I and found out, that the Tsar is the CP's grand-grand-grand...(6) father (via his grand-grandmother, Duchess Alexandrine of Mecklenburg-Schwerin).
On the British Royal Message Board was some time ago a discussion about another resemblance beteween a member of the today's Royal Family and an one of her ancestors (Princess Beatrice of York and Queen Victoria).
Am I the only who thinks that there's a resemblance between Crown Prince Frederik and his ancestor?
