This costs a lot, of course. At least 8,000 men are invited, who must a.o. must be fed, get a drink and get some entertainment...
BUT, H.M. the Queen herself has found a nice way to help financing it!
In the Danish Netto supermarket chain she allowed that sets of postcards with work made by her is sold!
Great initiative.
In 309 shops, 70,000 sets @ 4 cards are all hopefully sold at a total amount of DKK 1,750,000 (printing costs deducted).
The gesture is much appreciated by the Life Guards!
