Tiara traditition in Scandinavia

In the three Scandinavian monarchies, you always see that special family celebrations are tiara events, even for some noble families. Why is this tradition? It's not the same in the rest of the monarchies. You don't see tiara weddings in the UK, Belgium, Spain, etc.
